Heron AirBridge, the company’s stand-alone Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and drones technology business, has been incorporated, according to Heron Technology, a Singapore-based provider of digital aviation and cybersecurity solutions.
The establishment of Heron AirBridge is a reflection of the company’s continual advancement in the design and field testing of its unique Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) solution, AirBridge. The newly established organization will play a crucial part in allowing the quickly rising AAM business by creating and offering specialized digital platforms on which the sector’s hardware will run.
Since the introduction of Singapore’s first UTM system in 2021, Heron Technology, which was founded following the management buyout of Nova Systems’ Asia business, has taken the lead in the development of technological solutions to assist AAM implementation in the region. The system’s most recent iterations have been demonstrated to numerous regulatory agencies and ANSPs from Europe and the Asia-Pacific area during the past year.
