A New Spraying Drone will Assist Producers in Using Less Water

Producers will be able to operate more sustainably and economically thanks to a spraying solution from Hungarian agtech startup ABZ Innovation, the business claims.

With its L10 precision spraying drone, UK-based drone expert ABZ Innovation from Hungary is aiming to capture that market.

Following its success in five other European nations, ABZ stated that it is “getting ready for its introduction into the UK market.”

The ABZ drone system, in the words of the company’s CEO Karoly Ludvigh, provides a “lower-cost, highly efficient means of spraying fields and orchards” and makes it simpler to spray difficult-to-access places.

The new drone was created and tested in collaboration with the University of Gyor in northwest Hungary.

He continued by saying that the ABZ drones’ pinpoint precision, which is precise to within 1.5 metres, may be a useful tool for reducing input and water expenses.

Precision farming, in his opinion, is the only method to maintain agricultural productivity in the modern world.

The secret of effective spraying lies in the even and targeted distribution of the liquid.

In CDA technology, with the power of a brushless motor, the working fluid is supplied through low pressure line to the rotating disk. Through centrifugal force, droplets break away from the edge maintaining a uniform size. The lack of dependence between flow rate setting and droplet size allows flexible control and setting of droplet size. This also gets rid of oversized and undersized droplets, which means no waste and no unnecessary contamination. The force of the propeller air directs the liquid downward reaching the lower parts of the plants.
